Embark Group is a fast-growing, diversified, financial services business and one of the largest retirement solutions providers in the UK. The Company set out to disrupt the UK investment savings market through technology which permeates its whole business approach. In recent years, acquisition and organic growth have resulted in geographic expansion of its portfolio to eight locations across the UK.
When Embark first engaged with Q3, they wanted to create a robust model that could flex to meet their expanding need underpinning a strategy of creating great places for Embark colleagues to work.
Q3 chose not to deploy a standard approach for FM service delivery but took a flexible stance to meet the specific, growing needs of the Embark Group. After addressing the immediate priority creating a robust model, we instigated new regimes to manage this going forward. What has evolved over the next two years, is a bespoke solution known as an integrator model, in which Q3 effectively now monitors and manages the entire supply chain. This unique service model is underpinned by the deployment of a software package that oversees, manages and measures all operations.
To work successfully in this consultative capacity, Q3 needs to be flexible and informative, acting as a trusted advisor on all aspects related to property and FM activity. We have assisted Embark through acquisitions, providing independent review of the office portfolio prior to acquisition. As well as project managing improvement programmes, our involvement has extended to supporting major refurbishment over numerous locations and leading people moves within offices during businesses integration.
Fundamental to this approach has been the creation of core standards across Embark Group through direct involvement with committees responsible for recycling and environmental compliance, Corporate Social Responsibility strategy, employee wellbeing and ensuring that the office portfolio meets the future needs of The Group.

I just wanted to send in my thanks to Emma, who helped me on Saturday when my Mum passed out in front of TK Maxx. Emma was very friendly, calm and efficient, I don't know what I would have done without her. She was so professional and knew exactly what was needed I couldn't believe it when screens turned up and a wheel chair, all organised by Emma without making myself or especially my Mum feel stupid or an inconvenience.
