Our hard services team was contacted to handle the mechanical package as part of a complete antenatal ward refurbishment at Whipps Cross Hospital, Leytonstone. We were approached due to our successful completion of previous NHS projects, working closely with Barts Health Trust and design consultants Ingleton Wood. The scope included a variety of mechanical installations including hot and cold supplies, amendments to the existing heating system, air-conditioning and ventilation installations as well as specialist medical equipment. The project timeline was extremely tight, with a project handover date on Christmas eve! But with careful project management, attention to detail and planning and a consistent sense of urgency the project was handed over on time and on budget. Ready for patients in the first days of January.

I just wanted to send in my thanks to Emma, who helped me on Saturday when my Mum passed out in front of TK Maxx. Emma was very friendly, calm and efficient, I don't know what I would have done without her. She was so professional and knew exactly what was needed I couldn't believe it when screens turned up and a wheel chair, all organised by Emma without making myself or especially my Mum feel stupid or an inconvenience.
