Q3 has been awarded an integrated FM contract with Softcat, a FTSE 250 listed IT infrastructure solutions provider, based in Marlow.
The three-year, (plus optional two) contract will see Q3 deliver integrated FM (IFM) services to nine locations across the UK, through a dedicated team of over 50 Q3 people.
This is a first-generation IFM contract for Softcat, having previously sourced separate FM services from numerous suppliers across its portfolio. The consolidation of FM delivery into a single FM package is expected to create efficiencies and enhanced, more consistent standards of service delivery across the locations.
Softcat places great emphasis on creating employee-focused workplaces, which promote innovation, collaboration, employee wellbeing and a strong team ethic. Q3 is seen as an important partner in supporting the workplace managers to promote this environment, as well as presenting a positive brand experience for visiting clients.
Matt Newton Head of Property and Workplace, said “We were particularly impressed by Q3’s innovative approach, including the emphasis on productivity, Living Wage, and the integration of IoT and robotics.”
Stuart Bellew, COO at Q3, said, “There is a strong cultural alignment between Q3 and Softcat and I sensed a meeting of minds during the tender process. We are looking forward to working with Softcat to free up Softcat’s workplace resource to allow them to concentrate on their core business.”
