Testimonials

I just wanted to send in my thanks to Emma, who helped me on Saturday when my Mum passed out in front of TK Maxx. Emma was very friendly, calm and efficient, I don't know what I would have done without her. She was so professional and knew exactly what was needed I couldn't believe it when screens turned up and a wheel chair, all organised by Emma without making myself or especially my Mum feel stupid or an inconvenience. Please can you pass on mine, my Mum's and family's thanks to Emma, she is a star and a very kind person.

Frequently ask questions

Can security be delivered as part of a wider FM contract alongside other Q3 services?

Yes. Q3 can deliver security as part of a wider facilities management contract, alongside services such as cleaning, maintenance, waste management, grounds maintenance and front-of-house support. This gives clients one contract structure, one reporting route and a more joined-up approach to workplace service delivery. It also means security can be aligned with the wider needs of the estate, rather than being treated as a separate or disconnected service.

How do you measure and report on security performance?

Performance is managed through agreed service levels, clear assignment instructions, supervision, incident reporting and regular contract review. Depending on the service, Q3 can provide written records of patrols, attendance, alarm responses, incidents and actions taken, giving clients a documented view of how the security service is performing. For multi-site contracts, reporting can be standardised to support consistent oversight across the estate.

How quickly can you mobilise a new security contract?

Mobilisation times depend on the size, complexity and risk profile of the contract, but Q3 is experienced in shaping security services around client requirements. Before deployment, we review the site, operating hours, access arrangements, assignment instructions, vetting requirements and escalation procedures. This ensures the service is properly planned from day one, with trained and appropriately licensed personnel deployed to the agreed specification.

What does a vulnerability assessment involve and do I need one?

A vulnerability assessment reviews the security risks affecting your premises, people and assets. It may consider access points, visitor management, alarm arrangements, CCTV coverage, patrol routes, out-of-hours procedures, key control, incident history and the overall operating environment. You may need one if you are opening a new site, reviewing an existing contract, responding to an incident, changing building use, or simply looking for assurance that your current arrangements are proportionate and effective.

Can you take over an existing security contract that involves current security staff?

Yes. Where an existing security contract involves current security staff, Q3 can support a structured contract transition. This includes working through mobilisation planning, site requirements, client expectations and any relevant employment considerations. Our aim is to protect continuity of service, maintain compliance and give both the client and the security team a clear route into the new contract arrangements.

Do you work with smaller businesses as well as large corporate clients?

Yes. Q3 works with organisations of different sizes, from individual premises to complex multi-site estates and across private and public sector. The service can be scaled to the level of risk, the operating hours and the level of support required. For some clients this may mean a standalone key holding or alarm response arrangement; for others it may involve manned guarding, patrols, CCTV control, locking and unlocking, or a wider managed security solution.

Is security the only service Q3 provides?

No. Security is one part of Q3’s wider facilities management offer. Q3 provides a broad range of services across integrated FM, cleaning, technical services, maintenance, waste management, grounds maintenance, front-of-house and workplace support. This means clients can choose security as a standalone service or integrate it with other FM services under one managed approach.
